Through Ice and Snow

In Through Ice and Snow, you and your friends will travel across the Arctic and compete to become the most prestigious explorer by documenting species, mapping treacherous lands, and discovering the elusive Northwest Passage.

As the expedition progresses, new map tiles and routes will be revealed and added to the modular board. Each player commands their own ship, and crews include three officers with individual skills:

- The Carpenter, a craftsman who provides upgrades and structures

- The Scientist, a scholar who provides inventions and research

- The Captain, an officer who provides leadership and organization.

You can also recruit Inuit, exceptional guides who are experts at finding fuel, upgrading sleds, and leading vital hunting parties. Each voyage brings unique challenges and events that your crews must face: Those Arctic expeditions faced many tragedies, as finding food was extremely difficult, overworked crews were prone to mutiny, and the weather was unforgiving. Succeed and you will be immortalized. Fail and you will be lost in the ice forever.
